Untreated sewage is the leading polluter of water sources in India, causing a host of diseases including diarrhea (which kills 350,000 Indian children annually), agricultural contamination, and environmental degradation. The urban poor often live alongside dirty drains and canals in which mosquitoes and germs breed.
India’s largest cities have centralized sewage systems, complete with underground pipes, pumping stations, and treatment plants. However, these systems (MBR & MBBR) have some disadvantages:

- As a result, according to India’s Central Pollution Control Board, fewer than 80% of them work effectively. What’s more, SWACH BHARAT MISSION the dream project of our Prime Minister Narendra Modi has most importantly focused on cleaning the rivers of India which have reached extreme levels of water pollution.
The Innovative Solution Tiger Bio-Filter Sewage Treatment Plants---TBF-STP

Tiger Bio Filtration is innovative Vermifiltration based technology works on microbes & special hybrid Tiger earthworms. In this system raw black water spread directly over special designed bed & media which consist of tiger earthworms & microbes. Organic waste present in black water is broken down and consumed directly by earthworms & microbes and converted into organic manure. Within 45 minutes the untreated water is biologically processed and is ready for further tertiary treatment.
